taken along the street of macau.

today while waiting for gris & sun to reach orchard mrt, i was approached by someone from a modelling agency and i was asked if i want to do free lance modelling.
quite dubious, so i went online to check up on this company. according to some people who posted on forums 2 years plus ago, they are actually people scouting for girls/guys for photoshoots and then charging them for modelling portfolio, then they will use it to get future assignments for you.
WHERE GOT SUCH THING ONE?
if they really want to groom models they would be doing it FOC right?
so cheapo one still can be professional modelling agency.
don't know if they will still charge people for portfolio, if they do i'll reject.
i'm definitely not paying a single cent lor.

WOOHOO. common tests are finally over!RANDOM STUFF
i have surprising news to share. i've finally decided to learn driving because i have lots of time on my hands. so first up, i must sign up, urm which i don't know how to do so.. anyone can help?
---
i came to realise that organising even a simple event for a group of friends/family can actually be very, very difficult, especially while trying to accommodate everyone. i really hope someone appreciate my efforts.
---
while on my way home with my classmate today, we came upon a topic about our own part time job.
he's a part time lifeguard at certain public swimming pools and when i told him that i use to learn swimming from a particular coach when i was very young, he asked for the name of my coach.
i was quite surprised as i thought my coach would have already retired or something, since it was so long ago, like 8 years plus ago and he probably wouldn't know him.
he actually knows him personally!
small world huh?
i know i know! i'm such a swimming prodigy. i got my silver swimming award like when i was only 10 or 11 okay? *laughs at some old people who are already 20 plus and still doesn't know how to swim.*

money doesn't come easy. however, in some cases, money comes pretty easily, BUT only with great risks.
for instance, my friend recently got a 9 day job offer, urm well if you consider lab rat as a job.
9 days for SGD$7000.
basically, they feed you with some medicine and they observe you over 9 days. but you would have to be at least 21 of age, no drug allergy, medically-fit, non-smoker, and lastly, you will have to sign to agree with the terms & conditions (simply means you die you cannot blame them loh!)
he also told me that his friend went for a 14 days one (he was paid SGD$12,000, if i remembered correctly) and that after they fed that particular pill to him, they announced to him the medicine that he just took. it's a heng/sway thing & for his case, his friend was told that he was being fed with HIV vaccine!!! LOL!
hey... if i say that i'm not tempted i would be blatantly lying!
but i don't think i have the courage to take such a risk. what's more, i'm not even 20 yet.
furthermore, it is like insulting my rights as a human, walao eh!! feed me with some unknown stuff only to tell me what i have actually eaten after i ate it, think play game meh??? later money also haven't get then die already how?
give parents also cannot. say what? here's my repayment to you for bringing me up thus far, here's SGD$7000.
WHERE THE HELL IS JUSTICE MAN?
God gave us life okay, we must treasure it.
LOL, i seem like i'm reassuring myself, BUT I SWEAR I'M NOT. i really treasure the life GOD (or at least my parents) gave me.

i know i shouldn't be blogging this much, especially when i'm suppose to be studying for my common test which is two days from now.but i came across an article from kinowear which i find very, very interesting.
(btw, you do know that i have the habit of checking back on this website for new updates once every few days right? this website is so darn good and useful for guys!)
here's the link:
http://www.kinowear.com/blog/40-common-mens-fashion-mistakes-to-avoid/
title of the entry is, '40 common mens' fashion mistakes to avoid'.
to tell the truth, i find some of the points reflect exceptionally well for some singaporean guys here.
for instance,
1) Socks and sandals
Have you seen anyone ever pull this off, and look sexy? Case closed.
my verdict: words fail.
2) Wearing a backpack with a suit
Whenever I’m walking around the city, I see a lot of professional people wearing nice suits and carrying backpacks. I understand that a backpack can be more comfortable because you can throw it over your shoulder instead of holding a briefcase, but you can also get a nice messenger bag to maintain a professional look but keep you hands free and comfortable.
my verdict: many office guys do that in singapore.
3) Using too much hair product
Be aware that looking like you have a bottle of hair product on your head never looks good. A woman sometimes wants to be able to run her fingers through your hair, not hurt herself doing it. Use a smaller amount than you think you need.
my verdict: singaporean ah bengs trying too hard to look like japanese visual kei band rockers/ anime characters.
4) Being a fashion victim
Avoid wearing something just because it’s popular, and not because you actually like the way it looks and feels you. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with wearing things that are in fashion, or trying something out of normal comfort zone, but the problem happens when you’re constantly needing to buy that next “fashion piece” that everyone seems to be jumping for. Build a style of your own instead of joining the clones.
my verdict: actually i think this applies more to singaporean teen girls, lol! i mean, look at what people are selling on blogshops nowadays man.
5) Wearing a crew neck tee under a dress shirt
Pick up a v-neck undershirt and you’ll look a million times better.
*btw, crew neck tee means round neck one.
7) Wrong belt color
If you’re wearing dress shoes, make sure the color of your belt matches the color of your dress shoes. Also, the finish of the belt and shoes need to match. In other words, if your shoes are shiny, your belt should be shiny as well. If you’re wearing casual shoes or sneakers, make sure you wear a thicker casual belt to match instead of a thin dress belt.
my verdict: not many people commit this mistake, but good to note anyway!
8) Clipping your cell phone to your belt
This is as attractive as using a Bluetooth headset as a fashion accessory. It’s a cell phone, not a gun, keep it in your pocket.
my verdict: KOPITIAM UNCLES.
9) Too much jewelry
All the jewelry a man needs are watches that will match different outfits, and a wedding ring if he’s married. Unless you’re a rock star, don’t go around wearing five rings and a bunch of necklaces at the same time. It looks tacky. Limit yourself to no more than three pieces of jewelry.
my verdict: well.. this one's probably mine. i don't go around wearing five rings and a bunch of necklaces but i definitely have more than 3 on me everytime i go out.
10) Wearing sandals outside of the beach or pool
Keep the flip-flops for the pool, and opt for a casual pair of driving moccasins this summer. Driving moccasins are usually made of leather, but really easy to slip into and have flexible rubber soles, which make them the rich man’s slipper. A pair of dark brown ones will work perfectly with almost anything. Wear them without socks and a pair of cotton shorts for a classically stylish appeal. And if you do wear sandals to the beach or the pool, make sure your toenails are trim and healthy looking.
my verdict: why not man?! havaianas look pretty good with tees and shorts what..
*oh btw, moccasins are actually something like casual loafers. omg! i'm such a fashion know-it-all.
just kidding, i googled one. :D
okay, that's all i'm sharing. if you want to read more can go to the link i've provided on top.
they also create style looks (under kinowear lookbooks) which you can observe and follow.
i think all of them are nice.

i just watched susan boyle's audition at britain's got talent on youtube.(i know i'm slow!!)
& i must say i was quite astounded by her vocals! well at the very least, i prefer these genres to britney spear's womaniser, lady gaga's pokerface and techno sort of stuff which clearly define lack of vocal skills and never fail to irritate me.
interesting how quick people are to judge one another by the way they look.
though having said that, i can't deny i'm one of those type of people too.
like what a viewer of the video wrote, human psychology definitely got its ass kicked.

---
anyway, i went down to ebie after my common test today to get my pay for the previous month!
though it's just a measly amount. (almost $300 only..)
i didn't want to go home for dinner because my mom cooked porridge (YUCKS & have i forgotten to mention that i hate porridge? so bland, so sludgey, so not nutritious), so i dined out with some of my colleagues at holland v.

my new handphone. :DCHIO BO?
a black LG KU990R viewty, 5 mp camera, but it doesn't really matter (because i have a 10.1mp digital cam), just felt like saying it. (:
as of now, i haven't explore much because i've been spending much time on editing & deleting some of my contacts.
& i found a burberry wallpaper for it, which i think suits my phone, although a tad too simple.
btw, that thing (hanging on my phone) which looks like a lipstick is actually my phone's stylus. i'm exceptionally attracted to it, somehow.
---
something which pisses me off all the time.
- when my tech gadgets fail on me & i have to take trouble to replace them.
my mp3 earpiece suddenly went bonkers while i was on my way to school yesterday.
it was making weird noises which obviously didn't sound like music that was supposed to be played to me.
so i concluded that it was spoiling & i tried adjusting it to make it work by plugging into and pulling out of my ipod numerous times.
still...
IT DIDN'T WORK!
& i got damn pissed off and pulled the earpiece so hard it tore.
great.
$9000 earpiece gone.
oh by the way, 9000 because there's loads of blings on it, & whenever people ask me where i got it and how much i got it for, i always reply 'sookee jewellery, custom-made, $9000'. i tell them that those crystals on it are actually real diamonds, but nobody ever believes me.
anyway,
luckily i was still quite early for school, so i dropped by holland and bought a new one, which costed me $40. so expensive ah... things nowadays...
the packaging says, 'panasonic crystal sound', so i was expecting to experience something different... something breathtaking, something uhh... crystal clear (CORRECT WHAT?! IF NOT WHY CALLED CRYSTAL SOUND???), but when i tried it on, it sounded like urm, normal to me.
maybe i'm expecting too much, LOL. whatever man, it better not spoil too soon.

during my lunch break in school yesterday, my friend asked me if i have received the letter for pre-enlistment medical screening yet & i told him i haven't. he was quite shocked and told me to quickly call to ask as he had already went for his during april.
he also has an extra semester and the interesting thing is, i only got to know him personally after 3 years being in the same course, different path that's why.
i didn't have the number, fortunately he has, so he gave it to me.
i made the call today and true enough, the person told me that my scheduled medical screening is NEXT YEAR, OCTOBER!
WTF MAN?! SHOCK OF MY LIFE.
i then requested for early enlistment and they said ok, but they need a confirmation letter from my school to verify that i'll be graduating by august this year, & hopefully if things go well, i might just be enlisting in less than a year time.
thank god for him!

my mom & dad wants me to go jogging/running on a regular basis to train for my NS.as some of you might know, i haaaaaaaaaatee running!!
because..
1) i think i look stupid when i'm running, with those dishevelled hair all over the place
2) i'm lazy, don't like to run. i mean who likes running anyway?
3) i'm quite senstive to sunlight (well actually, that's just a stupid excuse because i can choose to run at night instead wut)
4) & most important of all, running makes me lose weight. standing at 174cm, weighing 52kg, don't think i can afford to lose more, can i?
pretty darn reasonable, huh?
anyway, i then came up with an excuse saying that i don't have any running shoes (which is true!).
i have 7 or 8 pairs of footwears, but none of them is suitable for sports purposes, unfortunately. :(
& as if i know how they're going to reply, my mom told me she would sponsor me one pair of proper running shoes from puma.
trust me, she is not so generous usually..
she said she could get 40% to 50% discount from her friend and all i need to do is to tell her the size & model i want.
don't know true or not. -_-
that is not good news at all, by the way.
