long over due pictures, my trip to malacca!

first time riding a horse, i love horses because they're quiet & obedient animals.

this one is a half blind one. it nearly fell off an edge while i was on it. so scary!!

the girl in orange is my cousin btw, and the guy in blue is ka wai's father.

my father is an animal abuser, so big size sit on the poor small donkey.

i grabbed almost every one of those because i want to try everything!

btw, this place is the place which sells traditional nyonya kuehs. mediacorp advertised for them before, michelle chia was the host of the show. i can't remember the show title though.

my ah ma and aunt, in some church.

bah kut teh with premium chinese tea.

whole pot of bah kut teh.

i like. :D super delicious & there is no black pepper taste in the soup base, unlike the ones in singapore.

our dinner, nyonya cuisine. very very sumptuous, lots of spicy food.

so many dishes but the total cost only came up to like.. SGD$40-50 plus? for 13 people.

dirt cheap!

bur bur hitam.

bur bur cha cha.

everything also bur bur. wonder what it means..

bur bur bur bur~ bur bur bur bur~ :O

caught eating.

as you can see, i ate a lot, luckily didn't put on weight.

wait a minute, since when i will put on weight one? :P

to conclude, malacca nothing to shop, but lots of things to eat. weather also damn scorching hot, i was trying very hard to avoid the sun and get minimal sunlight exposure, thus the reason why i loved going back to the mini bus so much.

p/s: don't get me wrong though, i think sun tanning is good and tanned skin does give off a healthier glow, but i prefer fair skin more, looks softer & cleaner.

I SHALL QUIT SHOPPING.

for 4 months, or maybe even longer.

aiya, somehow grown sick of it already.

plus, i don't have anything in mind i want to buy either,

(ok, to be very very honest, nothing in mind except for this...)

181674 FAFXN 1000
USD$265

a black gucci wallet (under the men's classics). something worth drooling at.

somehow i don't get why other people prefer brown ones over the black ones. brown ones are sooo darn common, they just don't stand out.

oh well, enough ranting, i probably wouldn't be getting it anytime soon anyway.

---

on a happier note, some of us managed to draw time out to celebrate xinyun's and huibing's birthdays at mykii (a fusion euro restaurant) yesterday.

mykii is located at holland v. however, most of them didn't like the food.

but in my opinion, i think they're good, despite their mediocre presentation. there's a tinge of unique taste to their cuisine though i think not many can accept, for instance they cook their vermicelli with pomelo and a little bit of chilli flakes, then top it with grilled chicken pieces.

i liked that. abit spicy, abit citrusy.

as for me, i had some pot roasted chicken and i thought it would come in a pot of chicken.

but no i was wrong. it was served in a plate of rice, with a big piece of chicken on it. that's all. like indian food, but not spicy.

paid $16 for it, not very worth it lo.

i did some self-reflection over the past few days and came to a deductive reasoning that money really.. can't buy happiness.

ironically enough though,

so much for the material things i've bought for myself with money.

they didn't come easy, honestly. i worked hard for them, but the happiness that came along with them? it was so short-lived.

to speak the truth, i don't really understand why i have been struggling so hard for to feed on these selfish desires, each month.

i feel very confused & empty now. spend also not happy, don't spend also not happy.

how many out there knows how to gain permanent happiness, anyway?

p/s: don't tell me to go die, i don't want to die..

project shop day bag - $119.90 (bought @ paragon)

p/s: this thing is so darn small, sleek and classy, very good for me because i have keys, tissue, camera, ipod, wallet and handphone to bring whenever i go out and i always had problems fitting all of them into my pants' pockets, grrr..

p/p/s: but then i think it's not very worth it, because i've never actually heard of this brand before, and i can get cheaper & similar versions of it at esprit or zara.

p/p/p/s: but then when i brought it to school & my classmate asked me where i got it, and when i told her it was from paragon, she immediately knew it was from project shop. so it's not that 'ulu' afterall. :O

wu la la~ i'm so long-winded. :P

river island watch - $83.00

i don't know why i bought this. maybe because it has loads of blings on it? just kidding, this is to go with my dress shirts/polos.

wu la la~ :P

& last but nt least,

for my mommy, though i'm a little late, had no time to go shopping.. :(

it's a white handbag btw (i don't want to open & spoil the box packaging)

don't need see, confirm nice one because i chose one wut! :O

i woke up with a david beckham-ish hairstyle today.

nice? no deliberate styling, no wax or any hair product used.

oh btw, i forgot to blog abt it. this haircut and color costed me $145+.
